Troy Brunk

Avionics

Troy Brunk leads the Avionics strategic business unit of Collins Aerospace, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, he is responsible for advancing flight deck solutions, airborne communications, vision systems, sensors and fire protection for commercial and military customers around the world.

Troy has served in a variety of Collins leadership positions spanning 30 years. Most recently he led the Interiors strategic business unit based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he was responsible for leading a broad portfolio of aircraft interior systems for seating, lighting, galley, oxygen, evacuation, de-icing, and more.

His previous leadership roles include vice president of Communication, Navigation & Guidance Solutions for the Mission Systems business, where he was responsible for a broad portfolio of secure and resilient military communication and navigation solutions, and vice president and general manager for Airborne Solutions, where he was responsible for the company's avionics and flight deck solutions for military fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

Troy earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Iowa. He serves on the advisory board for The University of Iowa's Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
