Collins Aerospace designs, develops, manufactures and provides spare parts and full MRO services for our Goodrich® hoists worldwide. Collins Goodrich hoists are developed to provide optimum performance, reliability, operational efficiency, as well as reduce operational and lifecycle costs. Our hoists are found on most major helicopter platforms, including Airbus, Bell, Boeing, Leonardo, Sikorsky and many more.

As a global leader in design and development of rescue hoists, we offer a variety of options to the rescue community including electrically and hydraulically powered, and internally and externally mounted hoists. We offer two distinct types of hoist technology: level wind and translating drum cable management. Each hoist is specially designed using our advanced technology to meet varying capability and mission requirements.

Transformative design

With more than 45 years of hoist design, manufacturing and field experience, Collins Goodrich hoists lead the market with the highest performing, most durable and easily maintainable hoist available.

Translating drum technology

Hoists with our translating drum cable management system meet the requirements of high-usage, high-fleet-angle environments and for aircraft with a primary mission of search and rescue. The translating drum cable management technology extends cable life and allows for continuous duty and high-fleet-angle operation which is essential in unpredictable or extreme environments.
