Tatum Buse
Finance
Tatum Buse is the chief financial officer at Collins Aerospace. In this role, she leads a global team responsible for financial planning and reporting, accounting and controls, cost management, and supporting execution of the company’s key priorities.
Previously, Tatum served as the vice president of Finance Shared Services and Integration at Collins Aerospace, where she managed a team responsible for providing financial services to the business and focused on the post-acquisition integration of processes and tools.
Since joining the company in 1996, Tatum has held various finance positions of increasing responsibility within both the strategic business units and central functions. She served as vice president of Finance and corporate controller at Rockwell Collins, where she led a team responsible for providing technical accounting guidance and services, managing the company’s internal controls and government accounting compliance programs, and preparing and reporting external financial documents and filings. She also served as the company’s principal accounting officer and chair of the Disclosure Committee.
Tatum is passionate about the development and advancement of women in leadership roles. In 2007, she co-founded the Women’s Employee Resource Group at Rockwell Collins. From 2019-2021, she served as the executive sponsor for the Raytheon Technologies Corporation Finance Women’s Forum and the Collins Aerospace Women’s Enterprise Resource Group.
Tatum serves as a board member on the Cedar Rapids Economic Alliance Policy Board, an organization focused on economic and community development, business support, workforce, and public policy within the region. She is also a board member and treasurer for the Catherine McAuley Center, a charity focused on supporting refugees, immigrants and women experiencing crisis.
Tatum holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
