Special Advisor
Christoph Feddersen, Vice President and Special Advisor at Collins Aerospace, was most recently Vice President and General Counsel for Collins, a position he held for almost nine years. In that role, he led a team of more than 1,000 legal, contracts and global trade professionals, providing leadership and guidance on all legal matters, including international trade compliance, intellectual property, litigation and contracts. He led the legal team on many transformational transactions — including the acquisitions of Rockwell Collins and FlightAware as well as the 2023 divestiture of the company's actuation business to Safran Group. In his current role, Christoph supports transition and change management activities.
Prior to joining Collins, Christoph held several positions of increasing responsibility, including as Vice President and General Counsel for UTC Aerospace Systems. Prior to that, he served as chief-of-staff to the chairman and chief executive officer of United Technologies Corporation ("UTC"), and held the role of lead lawyer for regulatory matters during UTC's acquisition of the Goodrich Corporation. Before joining UTC, he worked for international law firms Cleary Gottlieb and Morgan Lewis in Europe and the United States.
Christoph is admitted in the United States and Germany, and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Michigan and a doctorate in international law from the University of Hamburg. He was also an Emile Noël Fellow at Harvard Law School.
