Phil Jasper

President

Phil Jasper is president of Raytheon, a business of RTX specializing in integrated air and missile defense, advanced sensors, space-based systems, hypersonics and effectors.

A 31-year professional in the industry, Jasper previously served as president of Collins Aerospace’s Mission Systems strategic business unit, a portfolio responsible for delivering military, government and civil solutions to help global customers safely and successfully complete their most complex missions.

During his career at Collins, Jasper effectively transitioned commercial aerospace technologies to the defense sector. He led one of the industry’s first programs to fully integrate commercial Communications, Navigation and Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) capability and interoperability into a military aircraft fleet. He also led the integration of RTX’s connected battlespace solutions strategic focus area. His leadership of this critical growth strategy for the company helped customers across the service branches execute on their vision for multi-domain operations in a contested battlefield environment.

Working with Congress and the U.S. Department of Defense, Jasper continues to be a lead advocate to help streamline how the United States procures hardware and software and to protect intellectual property rights — both critical issues for the aerospace and defense industry.

Jasper holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in aerospace engineering from Iowa State University.
