RTX participates in the voluntary global ESG disclosure system called CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) and responds to its annual climate change and water questionnaires. Our detailed responses address issues of governance, strategy, risk management, emissions/water consumption and goals.
Our company is committed to complying with the conflict minerals rule, and we have established a compliance program conforming to the internationally recognized due-diligence framework established by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development. The annual Form SD disclosure report we file with the Securities and Exchange Commission describes the due-diligence measures we undertook during the reporting period.
Our corporate governance provides the framework for our culture of integrity and ethical behavior. Our Board of Directors and policies guide our actions and govern the relationships among employees, customers and communities.
RTX respects the privacy of visitors to its websites, and we have implemented safeguards to protect any personal information we may collect. Our company has also adopted rules authorizing the sharing of personal information between our businesses to comply with local regulations.
Diversity, equity and inclusion are more than just part of our culture – they're embedded in our business strategy. Our multi-year plan will create meaningful and measurable progress to advance diversity, equity and inclusion across the company and beyond.
RTX’s legacy companies each had longstanding histories of excellence as leaders in the management of environment, healthy and safety, and as a merged company we’ve renewed that commitment.

Stronger Together, our code of conduct, is intended to inspire, guide and enable our best performance – individually and collectively. By helping us identify potentially challenging situations, the code promotes ethical decision-making and conduct. The code is about more than simply avoiding bad outcomes; it is about how we do business. By setting standards and by guiding us in line with our values, the code helps us build a strong ethical culture and achieve our business goals with integrity.
We adhere to the highest standards of financial reporting.
Our reporting aligns to the Global Reporting Initiative.
At RTX we have a responsibility to use our resources and talent to help build a better, more sustainable world where human rights are protected and respected. It is a core operating principle for all our people and our businesses across the globe.
2020 marked our first disclosure aligning with the framework of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). It follows disclosure and accountability guidance for the aerospace and defense industry. Our expectation is that these disclosures will continue to mature with time.
Social responsibility drives the investments we make in our people and the diverse and united workplace we build. Through transformative investments, we are committed to dedicating resources and talent to help meet the needs of our communities and to build a better future together.
We develop strategic relationships with suppliers who share our values and our commitment to delivering technologies that define the future of aerospace and defense. Suppliers are a vital part of our team, and we have the same expectations for them in terms of ethics and compliance as we have for our officers, directors, employees and representatives. Our Supplier Code of Conduct sets forth our expectations for each of our product and service suppliers.
RTX builds careers. From our funding of employees’ college degrees and other educational pursuits through our Employee Scholar Program, to our professional development programs, and our promotion of mentorship across disciplines and in different stages of professional life, we develop empowered employees and future leaders.
