The Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) team explores new technologies, methods and tools for the optimal design of complex systems, subsystems and components. We work collaboratively across Collins Aerospace and Raytheon Technologies to support early aerospace conceptual design phases. The team is composed of world-class research engineers and scientists with extensive experience in MDO, structural optimization, systems engineering and AI.

- Multiphysics and multifidelity surrogate modeling and reduced-order model extraction for information fusion and accelerated design
- Resource-aware optimization for the allocation and scheduling of available computing resources
- Reusable models, tool interfaces and automated workflow development through specialized constraint programming
